    Will do, thank you.

So far all is good. Lots of information flying at me. Ran some guildhest roulette last night, need to catching the main story up to start dungeons. MSQ is lagging behind the leveling so far. Could use access to the retainer storage soon.

That tends to be the case for the first 20 levels or so, maybe a little more. After that, it evens out a bit unless you do a bunch of extra content (like re-running dungeons multiple times in hopes of better loot drops), in which case you might keep leveling above your MSQ progression throughout the game.

It'll come after the first three dungeons. It's from a level 17 MSQ (though as you've seen, you're likely to be well above 17 by the time you get to it).

Some things I noticed weren't mentioned. Fates, Roulettes, Hunt Log, and Challenge Log. Especially at the lower levels the hunt log shows its value, lvl 1-15 on any new class can pretty much be attained with just it and a fate or two sprinkled in to get over the lvl 10 line. When your still queuing as DPS fates are a great way of filling up the queue time with quality xp, or just when your not in the mood for dungeons. Roulettes at this point of the game Leveling and Guildhest are about it for you. While leveling keeps its value to 60, sub 30 the Guildhest one still gives enough to be worth it. And lastly the challenge log, unlocks around lvl 18 quest starting in Limsa's Drowning Wench, resets weekly and gives you more bonus xp and gil for doing what your doing to level anyways.

On a side note lvl 1-15/20ish side quests are pretty much throw-aways since you can level super fast then without them, when you start getting into youe 25 + range sidequests their value to hold for later DPS jobs goes up. GL HF.

Nice summary of what is worth the time. Thanks.

Dabbling a moment in a couple other classes as I collect them for later use.

One more question here. How is it to learn tanking with a controller?

Not bad at all... healing is where it gets tricky using a controller

Very true tanking is not to hard at all with controller (i am also on PS4)
Healer is not overly bad but i do use macros for sch, whm i just cannot get used to on controller and astro is fine.
Also not sure if it was said, but hunt marks will also be useful for experience. There is a board at each Grand Companies HQ that you can pick them up.
I just do not recall if there was quests to unlock them or such, lol

Beast Tribes once you gain access to them (level 41) i highly suggest you start, and get the Sylph over and done with first (they are a pita)

In regards to AST on controller, it will be getting easier on the 16th, well be getting a button to remove card buffs, which may have been the most hanicapped part of controller AST... Tho I really wish we couldve opted into when we use our Royal Road instead. But still handy for controller players.

Keepin in mind it is possible to play Keyboard and Mouse on PS4 if one wishes, I personally play this way. Not saying you should, but theres probably a lot of people who played other traditional MMOs on PC who are just used to the format and now play this on PS4, and options are nice.
