    I haven't been able to get home to do the quest since I'm still at work. I've never even been in the Gold Saucer. Is it going to be time consuming for me to obtain?

    Talk to NPC. Talk to NPC 10 feet away. TP to Gold Saucer. Get hair.

    You get a good bit of content from the gold saucer, that is, if you enjoy it all. Theres Triple Triad, Lord of veminion, a small lotto, a large lotto, mini games, Chocobo racing and breeding, gates, there are prizes as well, glamours and stuff. You should at least visit it to see what its all about.. You might like it. It shouldnt take you but maybe 10 or 15 minutes to complete all the quest to unlock the saucer AND finish the event quest that unlock the npc that sells the hair. You might have to play a few games to earn mgp tokens though. I think you buy the hair with mgp.

    They give you 30k MGP as the quest reward which is enough to buy all the event items.
