Wait. so is it confirmed that the moving is only for FC? Because that's stupid. Why limit it?

FC houses actually NEED the move function... for their workshop and airships... otherwise they need to restart all of those... a person house is just what... your house... it would make sense for them to do a FC move first...

I see the biggest issue that everyone has about it being limited is, I may not get a house if I sell mine then try to buy a new one... SE may decide both in the End... but the actual purpose of the move function seems to be for a change and upgrade a FC house without losing their progress...

No the biggest issue for people with personal houses have is that they have to be at their plot to demolish their house and then travel to the new one to buy there. During the travelling time there is risk that one or even both plots are bought by other people. And if that happens they'll be left with no house.

Not everyone who wants to move to Shirogane is a houseflipper you know.

Some ppl sell it before they demolish it, or they wait the time out...I never mentioned houseflippers... what I said is exactly what u just said... if u actually read the whole thing. I literally said, the issue is ppl giving up their plot and getting none cause they are all gone...

And if personal houses can be moved... u think your chance at a new house is any better? It just means you don't lose yours at the chance of a new one... that's just ppl being greedy... when ppl asked for the move so their workshop progress which takes month... won't be lost...

How is this being greedy? It's not as if you get to keep both houses. Or do you think just because someone has a house already they are less entitled to also enjoy Shirogane? Not everyone who wants a house wants to be in that district anyway. If anything not letting individuals transfer their plot ownership to another plot is going to make a lot of players stuck with Shirogane even though they may want something else.

I have a nice med house in the beds and I share it with my hubby. I have all the work shops and amenities and DO NOT consider it "just a person's house".

Likewise (my house is my base of operations), but what Victoria Silverdawn is talking about is FC specific concerns: workshops (not crafting stations, the room) and everything in them, and FC members' rooms. Having moved to different personal houses three times, I can say from experience that while the move feature would definitely streamline the process of moving, it's much easier for an individual to recover from a move, than it is for an FC. I'll lose a few items from my personal house that destroy on removal, but I can replace those quickly. An FC moving has to have all private rooms demolished (if members aren't on to demolish them, you have to kick them from the FC), and will lose all progress in their workshop--airships and learned schematics, all gone. THAT is what she was talking about.
