^Can you edit that into something halfway resembling English?
Aymeric would be a transguy actually, given everyone uses male pronouns for him.
I know I'm just piling fuel on this trainwreck here but, everyone's acting like an LGBT+ new npc would be unveiled with "HOLY SHIT!! LOOK AT THIS SUPER GAY NPC!!! We're so progressive u gaiz" but it's still entirely possible that, say, Hien will be gay (that's a bad example, since a lot of the promo stuff has been hinting him and Yugiri have a thing, but you know). Maybe Yotsuyu is a transwoman. Hell maybe Xenos is gay. FF14 has its problems but its inclusion of LBGT+ stuff naturally within the gameworld isn't one of them.
Also, it doesn't count as bi representation if all your bi characters are in straight relationships and never mention being with someone of the same gender. Where there's room to presume, most will presume "default" (straight/cis), and that's not representation at all.
I mean, if they make a well written character that just happens to be gay, lesbian or bisexual? Great. As a bisexual guy myself, though, I loathe the idea of diversity for the sake of diversity. A lot of recent games have fallen into the trap of making some very stereotypical LGBT characters. There's also not a small number of people getting a bit tired of them being written in such a way as to force biased political issues down people's throats.
The only qualifier I'd add is that I would like to see a fairly masculine pairing, like the two guys you meet in Bronze Lake. Not the usual fabulous, super-camp, boring gay stereotype the media pushes, which I find does more harm than good, other than in the minds of people who have a crusade to wage against "gender norms" etc.
Oh boy...Aymeric would be a transguy actually, given everyone uses male pronouns for him.

To conclude this thread we're actually around year 1600 in eorzea so we got still 400 year before the wave of gender issue. Give it some rest and come back around patch 42.0
Sure, create an LGBT character. I can see a lot of creative ways to explore gender. You can straight out make a character LGBT... or you can create a race of all males that copulate with one another... or females... or you can create a race that start off as males and then evolve into females as they age... or vice versa... or you can create an androgynous race that "choose" to be male or female once they reach maturity. In a game like this, you can do anything.
For all the people who are clinging to some sort of set of morals, religious or otherwise, I think you need to reevaluate the game you're playing. I know a lot of religious people who won't touch a game or even watch a movie because there's "magic" in it. Just playing this game is sacrilege.
I can't believe people take so much time arguing about this stuff. I. Don't. Care. We can be exploring space right now but instead people want to spend hours, weeks, months, years arguing about what bathroom people use. Dig a hole here... You guys pee here. Dig a hole here... You gals pee here... I. Don't. Care.
