I dont have a wheel stand yet. Am wondering if i should bother build one at all, if squadron manuals dont stack the FC buffs
At this point .. the only advantage to a wheel I can come up with would be if they institute better FC buffs than the Squadron buffs, and you need a wheel to charge them up. I'm expecting those to require a new, currently non-existent Wheel myself, so I'd recommend holding off on the wheel.
The time required to charge them up is also a huge negative for me.
I'm stocking up collectables as well.
Even if they lower EXP earning on them, they will still be very efficient. The blue/red scripts might be useful for mats or we can exchange them to the new token (Yellow Gathering Scripts) So in general they are not useless.

Squadron manuals are good to stoch up on regardless.
I'm prepping myself by stockpiling collectables and using a spreadsheet to track it. I'm leaving towards a LARGER exp requirement to be safe for levels 61-70. Here is the spreadsheet I am using:

High chance that blue scrip collectables wont even be collectables on release, it all depends if they add yellow straight away. If they do red items will be the blue equivalent. I have been debating making them too, but at the same time would it not be better to risk stacking the red scrip items instead?
Not a dig BTW just wanted your opinion.

Hello, sorry for late reply. I am actually stacking Red collectables not Blue.
In the live letter they stated that Blue and Red Scrips are not going anywhere. Red Scrips weekly lock will be removed and there will be new Scrips added (Yellow Scrips).
I assume that the Yellow Scrips will have the weekly lock in Stormblood and Red Scrips will play the role of Blue Scrips.
Blue collectables will probably still be used to level DoL from level 50-60. Red Scrips were not used for leveling in Heavensward, they were used for gearing up.
Red collectables with weekly lock removed are gonna be used for leveling in Stromblood. I think they will add more items to gather than what we currently have now. I mostly want to boost my gatherers to 62-64 and collect new Red Scrips items that will be introduced in Stromblood. Yellow scrips will proabilby be used to gear DoL in Stromblood.

To me looks like:
- Red: HW.
- Yellow: SB.
BTW: none have a weekly cap and yes, blue scrip will be gone.
From: Live LetterA: Blue scrips will be retired in Patch 4.0. Red scrips will remain; however, the weekly restrictions will be removed. Additionally, we're adding a yellow scrips for level 70, and they won't have any weekly restrictions either. Therefore, the weekly restrictions for both Disciples of the Land and Hand will be no more.

Thank-you for that, I followed a different translation which said something different. But since this is the official translation, we'll stick to it.
