vote abandon people on last boss are the worst people

Why do people do this? just leave. there are plenty of people out there who are willing to scoop up the opportunity to finish a dungeon or raid on last boss.

it would be easier for you just to ask to be kicked if all you wanted was not to get a penalty

Asking to be kicked is a reportable offense. There is no point in staying in a dead end instance and drawing more people into it, which is more of a concern in trials than raids. But if we've wiped 3 times to Scathach and no one has left yet, I'm going to keep voting to abandon every time.

for single boss instances it makes sense but other than that it's for nothing more than being incredibly self centered.

I see this sometimes in dun scaith with a diablos fail - but it's always voted down. As it should be.

yeah i dont really mind someone motioning it but when someone keeps spamming it and it keeps being rejected, it's really annoying

players who motion a vote abandon more than twice in 3 minutes that have it rejected should be kicked & banned from df for 3 hours since they want to leave so bad imo

If you don't want to finish the raid then leave. Also 9/10 times I find when this happens the person who kept initiating decides to leave and lo and behold we clear it.

Just had a vote abandon on Keeper of the Lake findal boss last night. The tank was new to the duty an kept turning the second dragon towards the add. The dragon's attack kept interrupting the shield activation. After 3 failed attempts and repeated statements to the tank about keeping the dragon facing away until the shield was up. Vote abandon was used.
Sometimes you just have to vote abandon on the last boss and move on with life.

I'd like to see people who vote no get to stay. I've been in several Dun Scaith runs as tank where if we wipe once on the final boss(es), out come the vote abandons. Worse yet is it actually passes and all that time was wasted. I want to stay and try again, why should I be booted out because a few people get scared and wanna bail, leave me inside so I don't waste however long I was in there.

i dont think it should be unreasonable to dismiss a number of people from duty without penalty if they have gotten that far, do not want to be there, and do not want a penalty. but they shouldn't be able to decide others should have to leave as well if they do not want to.

That may be your experience but it isn't mine. And trust me, I do want to finish the raid, that's why I queued up for it. But if we're consistently wiping to adds, there's an over arching problem that isn't just one or two people.
