I already pointed that out in the opening post. Yes, those are bigger requirements than simply leveling is, but it doesn't say you have to have run at least 334 instances as each role or gotten 100 commendations for playing each role. If a level jump potion counts for the mentor requirement, then someone who plays a lot and has already done their 1000 runs but has never tanked, for instance, can just buy their way to PLD 60 to say they're qualified on tanking as well.

The issue doesn't have anything to do with the amount of time or effort needed to qualify. (The instances and commendations requirements take care of that part.) It has to do with the breadth of what you need to have done.

I hadn't thought about that one. You're right. I guess it can already be partially circumvented. That's no reason to make it worse, though, and it would still exacerbate it further to count a potion-leveled job as well. Then someone would be able to spend $25 to meet the trinity requirement having never played anything except DPS, or having never gone past 30 as anything other than healer.
