    More precise HUD?

Since the annuncement of the job gauges i've been trying to reorganize my HUD to make some space and have a clearer interface. But then I encountered an issue that i've met many time already when editing the HUD: the anchorage. I spend so many time trying to align just 2 hotbars.
Have you ever use a powerpoint? Because damn if the element of the HUD could behave the way those of a powerpoint do, it would be heaven. Basically powerpoint try to keep your elements aligned and thus have some "notches" so that when you move your element it will make it follow a certain line to keep it aligned unless you don't want it and move it away of course.
Here with the game's HUD it's the total opposite: it feels like it doesn't want us to keep elements aligned.
So could we have a HUD more like a powerpoint please? For the sake of not wasting 20-30min each time I want to align elements, please.

Sorry if you've tried this already but have you tried holding shift while you move the items around? It should make them follow the grid.

Perhaps they can add another hotkey for micro grid in the area you're moving the items around for further control? Add a pop up number next to it too so you can perfectly parallel items

    Edit:
Grid Snapping: R1 or SHIFT + Moving Frame
Element Snapping: Ctrl + Moving Frame Hrm? Reddit lie?
Element Scale: Ctrl + Home (R3)
Micro Movement, Numpad arrow keys with numlock on

The biggest issue comes in when you don't want to align to the grid. It's been a while since I tried, but I don't recall being able to snap elements to each other, nor being able to center them. The OCD in me would enjoy this change.

I've just been trying shift, it's kinda efficient to follow the grid but it leaves far too many space between 2 bars because of the fact it follows the grid, so I still have to move it manually.
As for ctrl it doesn't seem to do anything, for me at least...

Read it from reddit with a few likes on it, so someone lied or it is no longer a feature cause I just tried it too haha. . /cry. Sorry I was researching for ya.

However while fiddling around I did find this (logged in and tested some stuff):

Using your numpad arrow keys with numlock on and an element selected will give it very micro movements on a micro-grid (or at least mine moves a set distance smaller than a shift grid move ;D).

Yup, using the numpad arrows is THE easiest way. It's a total lifesaver for aligning hotbars and such, though of course it's slow so you can't exclusively use it.

There is no apostrophe in Au Ra.
Stop adding one three years later.

May be slow to move but at the end you gain so much time, plus if you keep pressing an arrow it moves faster, this is definitely lifesaver!

The worst part about the grid alignment is different types of HUD elements don't seem to all align quite the same way.
