[Clarification request] Accessories role locked in 4.0, will it affect current gear?

Yes it will affect current gear. But currently accessories arent glamour locked, so maybe that will stay the same.

Well for example i250 accessories like Scintillant Ring of Casting are role locked to DoW&DoM. Glamour one of those on to something else and then equip it on a crafting class. It says Glamours are unavailable due to equipment restrictions.

If they role lock current ARR and HW gear, suddenly many of our current glamours using those old accessories will stop working on most DoW&DoM and all DoH&DoL jobs! Such as all the different colored Allagan and High Allagan accessories.

I really like those allegan accessories...

And if this change is retroactive, then people wouldn't be able to use whichever color they want unless it was the color for that specific jobstat...

The Garo accessories are from this limited time event and I happened to buy the Vitality ones. I'd prefer the Mind ones if they are locked. I don't mind doing the extra grinding, I just need to know if I should.

Although the Garo event is time limited, it'll still be around after Stormblood launches, so you should have a definitive answer with plenty of time to take action on it:

They aren't glamour locked because they aren't class locked... Glamour depends entirely on your job being able to wear it...
