When I played Tera, there was this skill called "Divine Intervention" if I remember correctly that does exactly the same thing.

It is very nice if you can pull it off at the right time in high-pressure situations, however I usually use it on my friends in order to cheat when we are racing each other, or troll them by making them fall off raising platforms lol...

A friend and I got eachother killed quite a lot with Leap of Faith.
All in good spirit and we never did it to random people, though.
The trolling potential of the spell is huge and random dungeons did get bad enough that we'd pretty much only run them while under the effect of the consumable that makes you immune to those shenanigans.

edit: My prediction is the spell will eventually be reworked or we'll get a way of blocking its functionality. I rather deal with being an idiot and failing mechanics than deal with people yanking me around.

When I heard about this rescue ability, I was hoping I could use it on tanks who sprint away from me before I've even finished casting protect at the start of a dungeon. Or that dps who keeps pulling before the tank in 24-man raids. And of course that ranged dps who insists on standing 100 miles away from the rest of the party, especially when I've got an expanded balance ready. So basically using it like a leash or something.

Was never an issue in the time i spent playing wow and its not like there is a shortage of trolls in that game.

As I see, Rescue will be a pain in the ass, and another reason for people to complain about healers. We ( I main healer) are already Crucified for being obligated tô dps, and now we're going tô be crucified for those troll healers that will abuse on Rescue, and crucified by the lazy dps/tanks that won't do mechanics because you "have tô" Rescue them. Sorry but Rescue won't be on my hotbar

I'm looking forward to this skill. All the times I wished for this skill in various situations... If people wanna troll with it, report them. I don't wanna see the bad people ruin it for those of us who would use it for its intended purpose.

Honestly this isn't going to be that much more troll capable than Water Burst and Blank Shot, or whatever the WHM and MCH knockbacks are called, already are.
