Actually he says that so that you can garner support, flesh out the idea, and get square to take notice that your race idea has a following. I'm pro diversity myself, supporting Viera doesnt mean I cannot also agree with another race if its a neat idea!

Anyway, I think it would be cool if we were introduced to a place sorta like Rabanastre sometime in 6.0 and have viera tie into that somehow. Those are some interesting ideas.
