I have to second this. It's going to make PVP a lot more approachable and less visually distracting.

Except this is an MMO, and MMO PvP is generally garbage. So it's generally a case of garbage limitation, if you will. This game can be played competitively on a Playstation controller, it was never that confusing if you even remotely know how to play this game. This is straight-up an update to attract casual players to pvp in general with 0 regard for ranked which is already in a horrible state.


Also "it's more strategic you can communicate-" NO WE CAN'T.

The irony of saying it looks like an actual competitive MMO when the case is they're clearly going to sacrifice ranked for the sake of unranked. Which I suppose makes sense on a business viewpoint (just so I don't appear completely narrowminded), more people play 8s now than ranked lol.
