I was talking about MCH. >.>I say that because functional or not, its a bait and switch and many BRD players were not happy about it. You go 50 levels playing a certain way, with freedom of movement. 52 rolls around you transform into a caster and while yes you can turn off WM to move and shoot, its not the same. You're basically turning Bards into black mages with cleric stance dancing. Bard was the one dps job I didn't absolutely hate... until Wanderer's Minuet came along. I'm not saying people who feel the way I do are the majority, I am just saying there's quite a few who do.
You said BRD/MCH are going to be unhappy if WM/GB aren't removed. I asked why MCH would be upset when it's functional for them.
The funniest part about this post is this right here, because we were told before the previous Live Letter that the one in May would be the one where they talk about the Combat Revamp and skills and such for 4.0 - as in, we were directed to not bother asking questions about it for the April one because they plan on talking about it in the May one.
Also, the media tour - the one with the bloggers and youtube channels and twitch streamers - was this past week where those particular groups got a hands on with the changes. We know this because it's in the Dev Blog on this site...so much for "secretly gotten."
The best salt of all is the salt over things that are already demonstrably wrong.
Because Wanderer's Minuet and Gauss Barrel are the basically the same thing, causing the same issue for MCH as WM does for BRD.
The only thing that makes me rly burn in ff xiv forum is, that certain players who say "ff xiv is dead" and write a COMPLETE FU****G essay about it. Sure Ff xiv has its flaws and so on but trying to find every reason to say its shit and the funny part is they still play. For my part I rather use pure acid for does people who complain non stop (except does who have a valid and explained reason thus have literally all the facts) about this game.
Now if u dont mind i have to buy popcorn for me and my wife for tomorrow, for the Ff xiv salty event.
The truth is that those people that say the game is dead continues to play regardless lol. I wouldn't take them seriously/The only thing that makes me rly burn in ff xiv forum is, that certain players who say "ff xiv is dead" and write a COMPLETE FU****G essay about it. So you're telling me... that from the moment you unlock it, until level 52, all MCH actions aren't instant, the same as a Bard? And that when you turn on GB your instants suddenly become cast times, same as WM does to a Bard? Let's be real here. The two jobs do have their difference but the similarities are plain to see.
Look I don't have a dog in this fight. I gave up on any of the dps jobs a while ago. I'm quite content to heal. But you're not going to convince me that MCH and BRD are wildly different jobs and that GB doesnt impact MCH in the exact same way that WM impacts BRD.

How many men am I involved with? Well that depends... do you mean men as in males? Or just midlanders?
You're being obtuse on purpose. They function identically as a skill but it's how they effect the rest of their respective kits that puts them in wildly different areas. They're identical skills until you apply the Brd/Mch to them.So you're telling me... that from the moment you unlock it, until level 52, all MCH actions aren't instant, the same as a Bard? It's why BRD's tend to tear up over WM while MCH tear up over not being able to hide how GB looks (For others).

Agreed, the mechanic works for MCH because they have the bullet gimmick that gives them better control of making their abilities instant. BRD has to rely heavily on RNG for a small handful of abilities to go off instantly. So hopefully they do fix it for BRD/give them a better mechanic.
Bards will now have to use arrows to use their abilities... be careful what you wish for =pAgreed, the mechanic works for MCH because they have the bullet gimmick that gives them better control of making their abilities instant.
