There are people out there that think the game is just fine how it is, so it comes down to personal opinion whether it will make the game better or not.

Does not matter, and you did not respond to my main point.
People tend to resist change no matter what it is, so a self reflection on that is advised.
When people quit over an issue, it passes the line of "just fine with how it is"
It is resisting change of being selfish in that view, and I like the game to grow, not shrink.

"Why can't I find parties to do xxx now"
Oh i doono maybe because you put pressure on SE of not to change something in the game that blocks new player motivation?
