If you want to forgo Live support chat you can also contact SE customer service directly over the phone.
Looks like I can't do live support until Monday. It'll still be utter horse-shit if it takes that long for this to get resolved by email. =/
I do appreciate everyone's help and support. I really try not to get upset at things like this. It just feels really unprofessional for it to have been this long from a big company like Square-Enix. Usually big companies are on point when it comes to customer service, because they have entire departments devoted to such. I'm just a big mix of frustration, sadness, and disappointment.
It's definitely a shock if you come from a Blizzard game that has top tier support at all times. The customer support for this game is pretty horrifically bad.Looks like I can't do live support until Monday. It'll still be utter horse-shit if it takes that long for this to get resolved by email. =/

Yeah. I'm feeling that for sure. I played Warcraft for the better part of 10 years, and the longest I've ever had to wait was about 12 hours. So to wait more than a day seems ridiculous.
Have you thought about trying a new character? While it is really awful that they have not reached out to you, in that 11 day span you would have likely been able to clear everything. It does seems you're stuck on the quest as an Alt? Maybe try it out with a new one and see how it works.
Had this not been a special circumstance I would have probably done that and just written off the terrible customer service as a fluke.Have you thought about trying a new character? However, I can't really remake my character, because it's a legacy character with the special legacy tattoo. What happened was, that recently I was clearing out all my characters on other servers, and found a 1.0 character on a server I don't play on. So I actually went out of my way to pay Square-Enix 18 dollars to transfer this character to my main server, and then was really hoping to get it caught up with enough MSQ to play Samurai when Stormblood came out. So I figured I had like a month~ to get from 1 to 50, right? Well, then I got cock-blocked with the MSQ, and yeah... Well, it's a legacy character with an additional 18 dollar server transfer invested into it. So while I wish I could just remake the character. I sure as hell could have gotten level 22 in 1-2 nights, let alone 11. It's just really not viable option if I want to maintain that 1.0 legacy character tattoo.

Can you not simply abandon the quest chain, pick it back up and do the section over again?
Game Options - Support - then go through in game ticket that way, I destroyed an item other night by accident within the hour I had the item back, GMs are quite quick I'd say

Main scenario quests cannot be abandoned sadly (for some reason that ability was removed back during the Beta test).
Although I can understand your frustration at this Jack, you're not helping yourself or anyone by going on angry rants criticizing SE - if it is a bug then it's probably something that is far more complex that will require a lot of investigation by SE's development team to discover what is causing the bug and how best to fix it, and yes, this takes time, not simply by flicking a switch.
Not to mention that even if they do fix the bug, they will not roll back your game data unless it was a serious enough fault that was affecting a large portion of the player population, and even then they only do this during patch updates which are... every month or so. Sadly SE cannot just wave a magic wand and your problem will be fixed immediately, it cannot.
Either way, try and stay positive, and have a little patience, and hopefully SE will sort out this issue for you soon enough.
