Square you need to streamline the main story

im a legacy player on my other account, i was there when yoshida took the game and made it better in some parts, i have played every FF except for 5 and XIII and even finished XI storyline
Saying this, People give to much credit to FFXIV ARR story line, and trust me SOME or MANY people like me doesn't find it that great (speaking of ARR)

Considering how many people out there I've heard complain that a movie was bad because it was 2 hours and 45 minutes long instead of an hour and a half long and give no other reason than that?

You'll have to excuse me for not taking much stock in the "it isn't good" opinion unless someone presents a convincing case.

Convincing the people that wrote it in the first place that the story they put time and creativity into is "bad" and needs to be shortened?

besides if you consider time wasted using the forums to convince the developers of one point, then i wonder what can i say about convincing another forum member of that same point, when that member has no power over the game!
I appreciate the time you take in posting, i really do. but
