Dragonsong, only thing that rivals it is Answers, but Revolutions takes a good 3rd place. Perhaps because there is no real emotion with the song yet storywise. The final fight with Nidhogg there was so much emotion and the song was more than a song.

Can say the same thing for answers. No song can rival that was played while the game was literally destroyed. 1.0 ended with it, mor dhona's epic music and errie feelings ended with it.. I do not see how anything can ever top it.

To the OP: You do realize that Nobuo Uematsu did all three of the theme songs for FFXIV right?

Other than that, I think Revolutions is great too and perhaps my favorite out of the three themes thus far (since I listen to it too many times already). However, I've come across many people who claim that Revolutions will never top mostly Answers (while poor Dragonsong is sort of left in the dust).

Like some have already said, people have their own preferences and you should respect them even if you don't agree.

Pretty much. I remember a lot of this forum didn't like Dragonsong for various reasons; the theme being borrowed from Chrono Trigger, it not being epic enough, or too much attachment to Answers. Now Dragonsong is held in much better regard because of how intertwined it was with the MSQ.

So I'm just sitting here and wondering what atrocities will be happening while Revolutions is in play.
