Would Texas give SA the routing they need or does it have to be on the east coast? I am really wondering if they simply moved to the Texas data center if it would prevented this whole mess

I absolutely support a datacenter for SA.

If putting one in SA isn't an option, then another one with their NTT friends in Dallas would be the next best thing. On top of SA players, I'm sure lots of NA players would move to the new worlds as well.

@ the actual topic. I think it could be done if there was high enough demand, but if it DID happen it would be for the existing languages of the game. Localizing the game into Spanish/Portuguese would take a colossal amount of resources this late into things.

Just going to go out and say this: While I do appreciate your plight, the game is still quite playable at high ping. I'm anywhere from 150-250 to the JP datacenter that I play on and I know the Australians are at 250-300+ ping from their home. I know a few Austrailians that have cleared all of Savage raid content (I, myself, do not do it because I don't want to), so... it's possible. The game is playable you just need to learn to adjust a bit that's all. There's a YouTuber from Australia by the name of Ethys Asher, go ask him about 240-300 ping. =p

I doubt they are finished tweaking the details, or at least I hope. I live practically next door to Sac, CA and my game hangs now a lot in dungeons/PotD. I checked my character on the JP server I play at and do not have this issue at all lol. Should probably give it some time before we start sharpening the pitchforks.
