I think everyone who wanted to transfer to Balmung because of roleplay or friends and now got locked out because newer players are only second class players according to Square Enix should make the right decission and quitting FF14 until the ban is lifted and instead visiting other MMOs and give their money to companies who don't lock them out of the communities they want to play in.
Square-Enix did not lock them out of the communities, the communities locked themselves up in a full server.I think everyone who wanted to transfer to Balmung because of roleplay or friends and now got locked out because newer players are only second class players according to Square Enix should make the right decission and quitting FF14 until the ban is lifted and instead visiting other MMOs and give their money to companies who don't lock them out of the communities they want to play in.
I am very sorry you cannot get onto Balmung. It sucks.I think everyone who wanted to transfer to Balmung because of roleplay or friends and now got locked out because newer players are only second class players according to Square Enix should make the right decission and quitting FF14 until the ban is lifted and instead visiting other MMOs and give their money to companies who don't lock them out of the communities they want to play in.
But... overreaction much??
Unfortunately most MMOs will lock servers when their populations get too high. SE isn't unique. There are actual maximums for server data and unfortunately the community you want to join is on one of those. They could have done nothing and the result would have been the same. You'd have been unable to join the community because the server would stop functioning properly. Just wait to see what happens with these new transfer incentives. If the server population goes down, you might yet get your shot.I think everyone who wanted to transfer to Balmung because of roleplay or friends and now got locked out because newer players are only second class players according to Square Enix should make the right decission and quitting FF14 until the ban is lifted and instead visiting other MMOs and give their money to companies who don't lock them out of the communities they want to play in.
In which way? I want to play RP. Balmung is the only server with a real big RP Population. So I personally say "Fuck you Square-Enix, you suck and everything you produced after Final Fantasy 10 sucks" and I think everyone who wanted to play on Balmung for various reasons and got locked out should do the same. If Square wants to lower their population, we should help them.
I kinda find it hilarious how the uproar is only really coming from Balmung players.
Players from the other high population servers haven't said anything so far. I wonder why?
