Preparing for Storm Blood - Glamour edition

I have a curious question for glamour people: Do you maintain your glamour while leveling? Do you glam every time you get an upgrade in order to maintain a set?

If I can get away with it. The only time you run into a problem is with certain level restrictions.

For example, here's a true story. When I was first leveling I got a tank chest out of dusk vigil. Even though the item level was worse than my dreadwyrm gear, I could not glamour it over my dreadwyrm because the level to equip it (lv 52) was higher than the gear I was using (lv 50).
