Granted, another variable not present previously in the creation of alternative RP servers is the indefinite lockdown of Balmung in the first place.

If you don\\'t, perhaps others will. They\\'re going to make the transfer free to leave for certain worlds. Whether or not you accept these, it\\'s up to you. I highly doubt they will let you keep your actual plot and workshop as they are so I think asking for different incentives is not out of the question.




Just take it as is. It\\'s not indefinite unless the players make it out to be. They will be lifted when the populations are not as high as they are now.

For the record, I am not signing this petition as I think the lock was a long time coming. Do I dislike the lock? Yes, but I think they\\'re right in trying to get people to move to less congested worlds. If you need better incentives, call for them.

When? Most likely Stormblood. Maybe they're waiting for people to tell them "Look these incentives are not ENOUGH! We need more like this. We know we can't get the same houses and plots. We can't get the workshop. Find a way to compensate for the materials and time spent on those airships." This gives you time to figure out what is the best option for you. I'm honestly amazed that so many people are so willing to jump before seeing where they will land... It's a great time to find out what type of housing market you may be getting into etc.

Except that bonus section is just a sub heading under the New EU worlds section. So I take that to mean that those bonus are only for those transferring into those new EU worlds.

Well they need to clarify moving from Gilgamesh and Balmung. I was about to move an alt from Gilgamesh to Siren but I'm going to wait now to see if 1) it'll be free and 2) if the bonuses will apply to my toon when she moves. I'm currently gearing her and have a couple more weeks to get her to full 270 which is something I could just as easily do on Siren but I'll wait and see how this turns out.

You can transfer to plenty of high-population servers... just not Balmung.

No. Even though I would have liked my SO to transfer to my server when he resubs for SB, I think this is a good thing. There's still xPF to run the dungeons together.
