Questions regarding Stormblood Pre-orders or Collector's Edition

I know im a little late to this, but I've pre-ordered my ps4 copy of the game through EbGames (I'm aussie) and i put my code i receved into the SE website, that gave me the psn code.
That all went well, but now on my mog station it doesnt say i have early access, nor anywhere on my psn does it say i have it. In my libary/downloads/anywhere that i can see.
Is this normal? Im just hoping ill get my early access.

Early access starts on the 16th. They said this a few times already.

I'm not 100% sure but check under your CD-Key section as the registration codes are there for registering your copy with Mog station.
The prefix for the early access would be 'RF3A'.

I checked there and it didn't show anything, I wish it was just on steam to be easier

I pre-ordered via the Square-Enix store, have input my pre-order code in Mog Station and the flag is present. How do I actually download the expansion for early access? Does the patcher take care of it or do I have to download it somewhere else first?

The launcher will take care of that. Assuming you have it set... I think in the launcher's options. I'm not entirely sure how early it will do so, since EA is the 16th of June. So expect it do the download around then.

If you've redeemed your code with PSN you'll be falling under sony's digital terms so once redeemed, you automatically qualify for early access and it will be available to you from the 16th of June.

This might be an odd, possibly dumb question, but I recently pre ordered Stormblood on Steam, and I've found out that a friend had purchased the physical CE for Steam to give me as a birthday gift. Will I be able to, more or less, upgrade my account from the digital deluxe edition to the CE version with the codes provided? Or are the only differences between the two the physical items such as the art book, map, and figure?

The best thing to do is to apply for a refund through steam. They allow up to 14 days after purchase and 14 days starting from the launch day of pre-purchased titles.
Although you may be able to use the codes from the physical CE, it would save you the confusion and also the money refunding the edition you bought from steam.
