I call bull on the Bard results.

Then again, it's an easy class to play, but it's very, VERY difficult to optimize to the max.

The question was how difficult are classes to play - not how difficult classes are to play at the best level. You could give anyone a SMN and they'll figure out quickly hey I apply dots, spam some ruins, use stacks, go into dwt, spam r3, deathflare and repeat this process, but it takes a little more experience to tri-disaster with the most amount damage available, to communicate with debuffers/buffers to squeeze out even more etc. But as a general rule of thumb is SMN easy to play? Short answer: Yes
