The one thing I'm really wondering about is whether Yotsuyu is Doman or Garlean ... given her (lore) description hatred of Domans I'd assume the latter, but there's no visible evidence she is.

She's most likely Doman. Her little bio released during the last Live Letter stated that she was had "committed numerous atrocities against her own people". She also doesn't have a third eye, but that's kind of obvious to see.

While not a pure-blooded Garlean, I would think that Yotsuyu is at least a Garlean citizen due to being a acting viceroy of Doma. Outside of 20 years(?) military service, one can become a Garlean citizen via extraordinary skill; she might have been the leader (alongside Genkai) that leaked information on the now failed Doman uprising. She gives off an air of head spymaster to me.

her mistreatment of her own people is also born from deep hatred for what the old government did to her which we will learn in 4.0.

However, if I have to guess the old Othard Government murdered everyone she cared about.

I have to admit,

I like it, but it doesn't seem to have quite the coolness factor that Heavensward did. Its possible I might not identify with it as much this time around. I suspect that was because I was never much for the Ul'Dah area or storyline. I liked Gridania and Limsa better.

I admit after Ilberd's antics I seriously lost a lot of sympathy for Al Amigo.

Still it does look like a good story overall and probably some really cool large scale battles.

But we'll have to see.

Maybe the garleans taked her as a kid, raised her in the empire and send her back to rule in her land in the name of the garleans

Never saw how there was doubt Alisaie was a RDM. She pulled a rapier from that book.

Yes but she didn't use any skills that were later associated with RDM. In this trailer; however, she now uses that backflip+blade beam skill and she now holds her sword in a fencing stance, like RDM, as opposed to a PLD/GLD stance like in 3.4 (shown below)

This new stormblood trailer got me really excited for the main story we are getting in stormblood. It more then makes up for the lack of excitement for heavensward ending.

Maybe I just have to listen to it more but I don't like Revolutions as much as Answers or Dragonsong, I don't know what it is but it just hasn't won me over like they did, maybe it's too similar?

Either way I really like what was shown here, although to be quite honest I'm not really that hyped for this because I doubt it'll be able to top HW for me. I know it's unfair but HW just surpassed my expectations and went so above and beyond... plus I guess I just don't find the concept as good, a war between dragons and humans is just plain cooler than a war between humans and other humans and I feel like the stakes just aren't as high this time around.

Is our opening movie going to be the trailer we got a while ago with Samurais debut or will there be another movie that will go along with the music like the videos for Answers and Dragonsong did?
