Got it, this raid has been made specifically with Viera supporters in mind. Ivalice =/= Viera, if Ivalice is more connected to Eorzea than we think, then that's fine (to a point, I don't want Eorzea to be written into the Ivalice alliance). The problem with your argument is that it is directly influenced by your want, it assumes that just because you want it then that influences the purpose of this content, and without that the raid has had no reputable sources that would connect the raid and Viera, and it would simply be a FFT raid. Your argument isn't even an argument for that reason, it is a non-sequitur.

As Nestama said, every time something in XIV even hints at referencing the Ivalice alliance (a normal thing to do considering how XIV is built) then all we get is "Viera confirmed" from a vocal minority, and frankly it gets tiring to hear (as evidenced by many people who reply to this thread). We can let the dev team use Ivalice the way they want without making it all about Viera because there is so much more to the franchise than that.
