On my way to my party's starting position on Ozma. I'm walking on the ring towards the platform. I turn the corner too early and fall.

I'm still baffled at how a SCH can't heal a tank in dps stance in Ex roulette. Like...wut? Git gud. Half the Ex roulettes I do one of the dps ends up tanking the boss because of the tank going into dps mode and I have literally zero problems.
On another note had the most awesome run of Gubal Hard tonight. At the last major pull before the chair I tunneled spamming holy and let the tank get down to about 200 HP before he went living dead but Bene went off in time (for once, I think hell froze over) and he didn't even go into walking dead. Cleared the final boss in record time and everyone walked out happy. I love clutch runs lol.
So many frustrating runs tonight:
-Did Ramuh EX for WT. We had a new player bonus. Mount drops and the new guy ended up winning it. I'm not mad that he's new or that he won the mount, because of course he has every right to. I'm just frustrated that someone can be that lucky to get it on their first run.
-Had a run of Halatali normal with a thaumaturge who only casted Blizzard and Sleep. That's it.
-Did a run of Sohm Al normal on my bard. I was grouped with a level 60 machinist who decided to need all the gear that dropped that were upgrades for me. He won all of it. I understand he may have needed them for glamor, but seriously?

It was on a boss but ya even on packs he was doing it a tad early too but I was able to handle that. (guessing he had some kind of CD for it, did not really take me out of rhythm)However when you have a new dps eating AOEs and everyone is at 50% hp after the fire blasts, you think you would change for a moment to allow me to heal people back up? No keep up that DPS stance so I have to dump all my Lustrate then heal the other pt members ( and late swiftcast raise because of this) off Physick since it is hard to ET/succor on that boss, and not something I like doing on that boss, and indomitabillity was on CD, because tanks assume healers can heal anything. It was stressful, and it increased when he was telling me what to cast when I was using all my tools because of his sponge mode in the wrong moment and wouldn't adjust no matter what??
That person you quoted, is why we have issues, thinking all situations is the same and "easy to heal" I do not think so. If I am using Dissipation, there is issues, I have it with a chat macro for a reason. So this adds to the offense of not being cautious. I do plenty of DFs never having to use it.
Says last resort for a reason, I do not like using it, nor should I have to, every time I have to use it, it is from stuff going wrong, and that means people should take some caution, not stay in DPS mode as a TANK! (also everyone being 50% hp should be another clue)

She recognized me?! :O Omg! And now I feel bad for not saying anything but I was focused more on making sure people weren't derping and attacking the same sanuwa as their debuff (like it usually goes in there). Tell her I said hi, and that I do remember her!I hope you two are doing well! ^^
I will definitely make sure to at least say hi to them next time. ;_; I was saying in discord to my friends "I have Selli in my BisEx!" over and over again. XD
(Egads that ping ;_; )
But now I has a not so good story :c. Was doing my weekly Dun Scaith, and I went DRK because I enjoy tanking it, and now I can do so with my new 275 relic I (finally) finished. The other two tanks were a WAR and another DRK. I looked at the other DRK to see if they had Grit up; they didn't, so I popped mine on, ready checked, and we went at it. Rinse and repeat for Ferdiad and Proto. Everything going smoothly except people dying to Proto's preys like usual.
Came Scathach, I do another ready check, and decide to do a 15 second countdown just so people can better prepare for her. Because her fight always seems to go south quickly. At around 5 seconds, the other DRK pulls. I'm like "Okay, we don't need to respect countdowns or anything" to myself, and take back hate. They continue to fight me for it, and she's turning, so I say something in chat. Their response: "We had buffs going to waste so I pulled. No one wants to wait while you decide if you want to Mt or not."
Uhm. You mean like I've been MT-ing the entire raid? Like I've been ready checking and making sure everyone is there for each boss and not getting locked out? I say that it's common courtesy to make sure everyone is there, hence why I ready check, and that I don't have any problems tanking, since I've been doing it the entire raid with zero complaints. If their healers/DPS precasted buffs before the countdown finished, that's not my fault nor my problem. They call me salty and a troll, and other alliance members start speaking up about how if they wanted to MT, they should MT and stop complaining or pulling the boss before everyone was even ready. The AST in my group says to them after they said I'm the one complaining in alliance chat, that they apparently can't handle a decent tank taking charge in the raid, and I responded to the other DRK that if they wanted to MT so bad, they should have manned up at Deathgaze, because I waited courtesily to see if they wanted to. When they didn't man up, I did.
On our way up to Diabolos, I said in chat "I'm going to also ready check and do a 15 second for Diabolos. So don't precast your buffs this time." And I got some responses from others about how they appreciated the ready checks and countdowns as compared to people just facepulling and saying "too bad so sad" when half of the raid is locked out of boss fights.
Comm'd the AST in our group. Because they were a good AST. :3 Not so good story with some salt in it, but also a very oddly satisfying story to have so many people in an alliance on your side against one idiot tank.
Oh... I also want to apologize for the two sprout SMNs I had in Snowcloak today. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why I kept losing hate so often. Until we arrived at Fenrir and I realized I was an idiot and didn't have Sheild Oath on. >.< Is just hit level 51 after helping a friend clear several of the 50 dungeons, and it just didn't dawn on me that my level sync kicked it off when I was queuing for 50 roulette. ;_; So I'm so sorry!!! D:

Tanking in 24 mans is so annoying.
I've been running Syrcus Tower as a tank lately because I want that sweet glamour set (it never drops for me tho :< ).
The duty starts and I ask "who wants to be the mt" in alliance chat.
No reply. Nothing. Not even a [Hello!].
Well, if no one replies that must mean that I can MT, right? I declare myself MT in the chat (I went as PLD), but at the first boss, the alliance B tank tries to tank steal aggro from me.
No, buddy. If you don't say anything, you won't MT. Not while I am in the same duty (ironically, this guy was a mancat).
Even though I managed to secure aggro on each fight after the initial pull (he didn't wait for readychecks), this guy wouldn't leave his tank stance. I mean, he got marked by a few boss mechanics so getting back aggro would've been impossible for him after running around this much.
What was going on in his head? If he wanted to MT so badly, why couldn't he announce it? He was level 60 with 250-260 gear, so maybe he was new and wanted to try tanking.
But as long as you cba to communicate, I cba to let you tank.
Now, for the worst part...
All of my Syrcus Tower runs these past weeks featured one such player.
#feelsbad
Isn't it a standard these days ?
I mean i lvl up DRK a while ago for m static, ended up i don't like to MT in raid, it's boring imo.
I've been running a lot of Dun Scaith as DRK and between the people that declare themselves MT without tank stance on, and the ones that just to play the aggro game...
Sounds like a daily duty, fight aggro in 24 man uh
