    Biggest one for me is MCH due to the huge and ridiculous weapons.... if they held them like rifles it would be a different story but they way they are you'd be shooting the ground or have freakish wrist/arm strength... WAR also turned me off because of the axe...I don't mind AST on females but the animations are a bit femme for males imo

    I tried MNK and NIN but their attack animations look bad, also I won't touch any of the range classes because I've always liked being up close and personal when I'm going for the kill. Tanks are fine especially DRK, who doesn't like wielding a giant sword? DRG appealed to me from the start because I like spears, their armor helps too.

    I actually loathed the idea of playing Monk because 1) their constant moving animation of hopping on their feet made me nauseous. and 2) I hated most of the fists weapons they had.

    Recently, I started leveling monk because Stormblood was coming and it seemed to be a monk centric expansion so I gave it a shot. Now I'm a lvl 60 monk and I LOVE the job!! Its so fun and they have nice DPS. I found fists that weren't dumb or I use the Emperors New Fist to do bare hand.

    Now I love the job : )

    ALSO I miss my Rouge Class so much ;_;
    I LOVED their running animation way more than NIN and I wish I could be a badass thief with explosives and stuff. Sigh. One day maybe. And Give Me Rikkus Daggers from FFX-2. I NEED THOSE

    ^i love monk but i cant stand their attack animation

    It feel so disjointed, other melee class has this nice "transition" from using skill 1 to skill 2 to skill 3 and so on

    Monk on the other hand feel off, their attack didnt feel connect to each other

    I'd argue that they shouldn't, given they have three different stances. It'd be like watching a Jackie Chan movie and saying a fight looked weird because he went from Tae-Kwon-Do to Drunken Boxing on a whim between moves. It's a bit ironic me (as a Monk player from time to time) complaining that Rog/Nin moves look stupid. All that spinning around when just shoving a dagger into someone's face normally would do a better job. On that note, I do have an issue with a few of MNK's moves, but they mostly apply because your stance has your feet planted (or flying around) while you can still move, so suddenly your character is slipping and sliding all over the floor. Dragon Kick annoys me as it's overly excessive and falls into the above trap (here I am spin-kicking and then performing an up-flip to get on my feet, all the while looking like I'm Ice-Skating), but Nin is still the No.1 pet peeve for that stupid looking running animation alone

    I started out wanting to be an Arcanist or Black Mage, but I really missed having different elemental attacks like they had in FFXI, especially the different summons for SMN. So, I decided to try some other classes out and I came to love PLD. I still wish they would find a way to incorporate the elemental wheel without it being miserable like it was in FFXI, but I'm glad I was pushed to try a class I would have never thought about otherwise. I did try SMN again and came to really like it.

    Also, for what it's worth, I think everyone chooses the class they choose in part because of their aesthetics. I mean, otherwise, why not just have everything be wireframe models with no spell effects. :/

    For a little while I was disappointed with the MCH's weapon. To me, most of their guns just looked awkward (especially when you run) and I had wanted dual pistols or something. Did find a nice revolver that I swear by and I still love the job to bits.

    I'm really hoping one of the new jobs in the expansion is something that I can enjoy. Aesthetics (both visual and lore-based) are really important for me. Maybe RDM will turn out to be something special?
    I wish, so bad, the devs would read this, and understand how all of us long time summoner fans feel. I look back at all the summoners through ff's history, and wish we could come close to how i envision a summoner.

    Honestly I was disappointed by SMN lack of summons... we only get 3? I understand that there is only so much they can do In regards to roles a summon can play but that could have been balanced out by giving us more summons and each summon applying a buff/debuff/status effects while summoned... image of we had the primal minions as our summons instead... ruda not only does her attacks but buffs spell speed for the party, Shiva increases magic invulnerability, ect.... I'd gladly give up skills like tri-bind, miasma 2, and even tri-disaster for better summons
