I don't see the problem Dustytome because im talking about situations where someone leaves and no one joins the party (some dungeons have a problem finding members at certain hours). So this queue you talk about, it doesn't excist!

Then they could just join a party in progress for that dungeon and it should put them in the group unless multiple groups for that dungeon are missing a member in which, first come first serve. If it's a completely pre-made group then I'd agree they should allow you to add members as you see fit to the run (out of combat), but in no way attached to a cash shop item.
The ring isn't a cash shop item, or have you forgotten that the base ceremony is free and the ring is made by the player during the quests that lead to the ceremony. Then they could just join a party in progress for that dungeon and it should put them in the group unless multiple groups for that dungeon are missing a member in which, first come first serve. How does it differ from creating a partial pre-made group running in DF? I see no difference and no unfairness. If anything it might actually get people moving through the Q's faster since it might being more people to DF overall.
My join date is accurate also (well, would have been July 2013, but I believe that was the beta forum, and I didn't create my real account until the game itself arrived). To be honest, the tension between the roles has existed for some time. The worst might have been with the 1st tier of Alex Savage and the far too highly tuned DPS checks that made healer DPS and Strength tanks a thing. Before that though, there was plenty of tension in the community with the original Coil tiers, and then savage and EX primals, and let's not forget the Lord of the Crag himself Hard Mode Titan version 2.0 who was a total and complete bear to get by, producing much drama.
The MOAR DPS meta has been around since Coil, and the tensions are more or less the same as they always have been. Every now and again someone will post that the game is in decline and dying because of this, and yet we continue to lurch from patch to patch with a pretty steady player count. There are many posters here who have been here even longer than I, dating back to 1.X, who might offer more perspective. But in general, I don't think the community is any worse now than 1 year ago, 2 years, 3 or 4. It is what it is, a self selecting group with a critical interest in FFXIV. As you might expect that predisposition results in a decent amount of argumentative posts, not untypical of an online forum. Actually If I compare this against Reddit, this is a center of civilized thought and discourse.
