Lowering the recast time would be great. Let it happen on their anniversary, shorten the timer every year to 5 minutes lower. It should stop at 10 minutes and not go any lower.

"BAAAAAARD!" - 2018

My attempts to summon a sammich maker have yet to succeed so far.
To be serious though, I suppose the ring could increase in usefulness depending on a bonding lvl that only increases as you party with your significant other? Teleport is obviously first ability, others could come after? Gives new bonders something to do and maybe a more rewarding experience? I dunno. Changing the teleport timer is kinda moot when you can get to your partner within a few minutes tops anywhere in game except for duties anyway. Being able to summon a partner to a duty would be neat though.

Please stop making that ring something that is not. Its only purpose is go to your partner. stop. Don't even try to put bonding in your minmax game.

Funny to see how I get called the enemy just for mentioning things I think could use improvement. Diffirence is that I made this post because I thought there were others that would consider this "improvement". I am trying to HELP the community. Joining a topic just to get attention by acting hostile against whoever made this post isn't helping anyone. As for the others stating their genuine "neutral" opinion, thank you. Im just sharing what I think without disrespect to the rules just like you are. I do not expect you to follow in my suggestion but I'm just trying to figure out if there's more people that agree so maybe SE can make a change if they see everyone wants it.
But admit that it would be nice if they shortened the teleport time to that of the home point teleportation.

15 minutes instead of 30? Yes
No
Hell no for abuse reasons. Vote-kick is already bad enough.
It's a blessing because people can marry who they want in game. Like my boyfriend and myself for example. It just sounds like a trinket that 'doesn't do enough' with the way you're explaining it.
Seen this suggested before, and it flopped pretty hard. It makes gearing up just that much easier, giving you basically 2x BIS rings the moment you get only one.

Now let's look at it another way. A player makes their way to an end of an instance, kicks random play #2 from the group and invites their partner in and it's guaranteed to let them in. If you want to play with your partner, you could go into the dungeon with them in the first place.![]()
I didn't say it was a kick situation, and I agree with your point. It should only be available if another player quit the instance, not if there was a kick, because then it would absolutely be open to abuse. Now let's look at it another way. More like... Most. Unoriginal. Post. Ever.
Its the FFXIV equivalent of Elf Haters in WoW. It serves no function other to foster a vaguely hostile atmosphere among the community. Its the mark of an immature mind looking for gratification and aiming at the lowest common denominator. It should not be praised, it should be ignored.

You sound a little upset, buddy. Are you okay?More like... Most. Unoriginal. Post. Ever.
