Moogle Primal Fight - What do you think is the catalyst?

Moogle are Beastmen, they hold authority over the Black Shroud and now they are pissed at random Silver Clad Generic Empire burning down their home and stealing their flowers (You know, (A Moogle Banquet)). So they summon their Primal and strike back at filthy lowly "non-beastmen". Don't mess with the Moogle Dynasty.

Actually, if you do the side quests/class quests you can see Moogles are being treated unfairly despite being the boss of Black Shroud. Enough is enough >_>

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised. This is one of the instances I wish they would release lore buildup to in-game events like they used to with the vanadiel tribune.

I was wondering that myself when I first read about it. What could possibly tick off a moogle that much?

One thought was, perhaps they're fed up with people screwing with and upsetting things in the Black Shroud, and one of them finally goes postal, vigilante style. You can see how it freaks them out when the elements are upset in the Grid. storyline.

Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be interesting.

Might I ask. What quests? Or for what class? Now I'm curious.

BOT quest up to lvl 36 (A Moogle's Bouquet, not Banquet sorry >.<), Unorganised Crime side quest, LNC quest up to lvl 36 and to a lesser degree CNJ quests. You can see quite well that Moogles are generally respected by Gridania folks, as they taught the Five Races how to communicate with the Elemental and hence Conjury, but are tasty snacks in Ul'dah black market and being treated like common Beastmen by Imperials.
