Ultra Protip: Calm down.

Ultra Protip: Calm down.

"Mr. Misinformed" wasn't rude to anyone in my opinion. While their punctuation is indeed questionable, the manner in which they stated their opinion was not.
Actually, this is as tame es it gets when different opinions on this topic clash on the internet.
To me, it seemed like this:
And this is not how a forum works. That's what made me reply to the mancat.
Also, let me reiterate this: I am not trying to put words in someone else's mouth.

I think you're stretching it a bit there; I can see how you got to that conclusion, but the instigator sort of lost that air of innocence when they began to draw parallels between people wanting equal access to glamour and feminists destroying gaming* by saying that asking for them to put the same amount of effort into gear for both genders was going to poison the developers against us. In any case, it misunderstood the core issue. Females not having access to the Aymeric set is a regrettable side effect of the longstanding bias against players with male characters, a bias which shouldn't ever have existed in the first place because it's a game with a strong drive towards equal treatment in general. If calling people out on bad design decisions is a problem, the simplest solution is to avoid bad design decisions in future.
* This is debatable in itself, but it's not really relevant to this thread in any way whatsoever.

Dragon Age: Inquisition rocked anyways. That poster clearly doesn't know what they're talking about.

I absolutely agree....but the instigator sort of lost that air of innocence when they began to draw parallels between people wanting equal access to glamour and feminists destroying gaming by saying that asking for them to put the same amount of effort into gear for both genders was going to poison the developers against us... If calling people out on bad design decisions is a problem, the simplest solution is to avoid bad design decisions in future.
That is exactly due to their lack punctuation. Their post is as incoherent as it gets in every sort of way.

Lukha's pics on the previous page inspired me to dig up my own old Evenstar set. The female version reminds me of a ballet outfit.

Hello folks! Back again with some more pics! Today, we're smithing up a storm!
(I made some bronze ingots. Nothing special.)
With little Ultros, my smithing assistant!
He's also an expert photo bomber.
I'm comin' fer yer jerb Gerolt!
If the blacksmith gear isn't idk...masculine enough, give me a heads up, I'll try whipping up a different look. Just thought it was some good neutral looking gear!

You say while literally putting words into my mouth, or at least my quote box.
I don't see how his post or yours are any less rude than if you were to go into the 'Show your Lalafell' glamour thread and try to start a debate about why it's bad to make a Lalafell character in the first place. The purpose of this topic is posting themed glamours and commenting on them, not debating whether or not we should wear these glamours at all.
It's not that your opinions are inherently offensive, but rather that this is not the appropriate place for them. If you're really burning with the need to talk this out, the 'Post New thread' and 'search' buttons are right there at the top of the forum, just waiting for you to click them. If you get the debate started, I promise I'll be there with bells on.
Calling me 'the mancat' is such a transparent attempt to get my goat it's actually kinda sad, though.

Looks great!
You're great, don't worry. Thanks for the cute pictures!
Tonight is my current glamour, the Eikon Healing top with the Orthadox Longkilt of healing as a stand-in since I can't make the rest of the pieces yet. I'll definitely be revisiting this outfit once I get my crafting gear in order, though, since the gloves and actual matching skirt are really nice looking.
