40 seconds for all the loading screens combined, and that was on a good day.

...I've recently been putting together a low budget gaming PC for my kids and thought I'd test it out... here it is before any modifications: I started with an Acer Aspire TC-780 then I upgraded the RAM from 8 gigs single channel to 16 gigs dual channel and this is the result:



after that I got a GTX 1050 TI and put it in there and ran it at the same settings and got these scores:

The total cost of the system I put together for these final results was somewhere between $700 and $850 ...

I wonder, maybe same scores can be achieved with something less expensive than the 1050ti, as a 9xx or maybe a 8xx gtx, to keep with the idea of a budget pc for playing.

It's not that surprising.

The 1050 TI is just a 1050 with 2 more gigs of RAM, the 1060 on the other hand has 6 gigs as well as higher clock speeds and nearly double the cuda cores. Not to mention it requires supplemental power from your power supply where the 1050 line of cards don't which is the main reason I went with that. The 1060 is definitely a good card though, but at $100 more and being on a budget and confined to a very small case/power situation it was really my only choice. Same goes with the 9xx and 8xx gtx lines. Might get similar scores with those but they are full sized cards and from everywhere I've looked cost more.
