More than 3 hotbars is too many for me. I already have 3 of them mapped to my mouse buttons, any more than that is just stupid.
Which is why I cringed when Yoshi-P said we'd be getting even more skills in Stormblood. I was kind of hoping the next 10 levels would add traits to improve existing skills, to avoid adding to the existing skill clutter.
atm i find the number of active skills overall to be in the right place (ws into their combos and the short CD oGCD), but some of the long cs and buffs need to chill the flack out imo on non tank classes.
Make it 2 full cross-bars (32 skill slots). 1 1/2 cross-bars would make the 2nd bar look too empty.
But I still prefer 3 cross-bars, so the R2+L2/L2+R2 and 2*R2/2*L2 shortcuts will not get useless.

The total amount of skills will remain what we have now during HW.

I play with a controller and scrolling through bars, especially during Alex Savage raids, is a huge but necessary pain.
I'd like it if I only had 2 sets of bars to scroll through (1 bar can have 16 skills, 4 skills per cross, 4 crosses per bar). So 32 skills is plenty.
I hope this remains true for Stormblood.
I also believe Yoshi-P said he was going to rework the current skills, which may include removing unused or otherwise largely ignored skills, but we're definitely getting new skills to 70. I'm assuming 5 this go-round, too.
They'd have to redesign 10 levels' worth of frequently used skills to keep it balanced with what we already have. If they focused on the ignored ones, we'd have those reintroduced, on top of the new Stormblood skills, plus the ones we DO use.
I'm comfortable with the amount of skills we have now, as a drg. At first it was a bit overwhelming going into level 60, I would like to see what they change to minimize the amount of skills.
