What I want is a proximity based question. If you run up to the exit gate, a dialogue pops up and asks you if you wish to leave.
Simply because NPC's take ages to load

I'd like it if we just take the airship without paying or asking an attendant to pass the gate.
This is also a great idea. The system they have now is just a hassle; it requires too many extra steps for no reason. It reminds me of FFXI where you had to go through the scene of watching yourself exit the gate.
My only problem with it is the swapped order of yes and no.
Watch, by the time they fix this, we'll all be used to the current order![]()
7UP!
We put the "No" as the first option to make sure that players didn't accidentally exit without meaning to. But! I'll be sure we pass along your feedback to the team. Any one else want to chime in here?

Would there be room for abuse if you let us exit and re-enter freely as long as we don't zone in-between?
Not on this particular issue, but how about Guardian's Aspect to be reversed also. It should be listed as "No" first because of the limited about of favor we have. I don't want to use it on leve's all the time, especially when into doing a lot of leve run's when I have a lot of them built up. It wastes time.
Thanks.
Considering that it's 5000 gil for me to enter the Airship dock, I respect this thought/decision of the devs team. Thanks. Yes it would be ugly and sad to walk around talking to NPC to find out what they would say, or get some info from them, but then carelessly spam enter and got kicked out of the Dock. LOL.
To chime in, I think it will be nice if we can have the exit (just the exit) from Airship dock by using Interaction menu just like the Ferry dock. I think it is less likely to "accidentally exit" because to bring up Interaction menu and choose "Exit" in there requires more effort/intention (than talking to an NPC, at least).
If you fear that the Airship Dock NPC at the desk would be jobless, you can have them say the estimated time before the next departure or something. Currently I never had the luxury of dawdling in the Airship docking area, so I haven't looked around to see if there's any NPC telling that already.

YES needs to be default. It only costs 5k to get back in for what? The vendor?
Also, for the elevator lifts, Synthesize comes up 1st, The elevator option should be 1st.
Can't tell you how many times I have started a synth right in front of that freekin door....
