Because the majority of players are not disabled and hence caring about their backstory is irrelevant and useless 95% of the time. Hence your entire "backstory" argument is weak. The disability part is icing on the cake because it is so far out irrelevant to what the daily DF experience is like.

The moment you show evidence that a plurality of players who are bad at the game are such because they're disabled or have anxiety issues, you name it, I'll be convinced that you should care about their background.

Until then, I'm assuming every player I meet is an able-bodied person and will treat them accordingly.

As a sidenote your "roommate disturbing" argument is even worse. Either you tell your roommate to wait or tell your party to wait/leave the dungeon.

Too bad if you waited one hour for your queue. Just suck it up.
