Guys, no matter the physical goodies anyone gets, none of them will ever get their names in a videogame credits like we did. Look at it that way and maybe you won't feel so hurt/betrayed/insert more words for me.

When Yoshi P gave that speech at fan fest unpon receiving the world record for longest game credits... That was a very special moment

Until they sell that too on the Mogstation....
The problem is that it shows them as untrustworthy, and willing to sell out part of their long time audience for another dollar.
It would result in lost trust.

It's a bloody mount! Selling out people? Seriously?
Why is exclusivity so important to so many of you? Is your appreciation of items directly related to how rare they are? Why does your personal value of something depend on if someone else has it?
that's not what you said. if a developer is developing something right now, everyone subscribed right now should have a shot at it, it should not be limited to legacy players, the time for that has past.
there's no reason for this limitation.
Ask the people who pay millions to have one of a kind paintings. Why do you think there is an unopened black label FF7 on ebay for two thousand dollars right now? Because there aren't all that many factory sealed copies left. You act like it isn't a common desire, when it has been a driving factor in almost all forms of collecting since the hobby has existed.
The legacy goobbue with the carpet is on the Chinese mog shop also.

I generally try to understand why people are upset about things... but seriously, who cares? This is basically the same thing as if they sold the legacy chocobo in WoW. Like, it's a different set of servers, a different set of people, a different cash shop, it's essentially a different game. Why in the world would anyone possibly care about what they get in China?
You know, it's funny how upset NA gets over the fact that China gets to have some NA/EU/JP exclusives while we are CURRENTLY in a promotion to get a bunch of Chinese exclusive stuff that we begged for. Not only that, but we also begged for(and got) multiple Chinese exclusive AND Korean content. But when China gets something that's "ours" oh no! Why do they even have our stuff!?
I wonder how the Chinese and Koreans feel every time we get to have their very limited exclusive content. It's okay for us to have everything nice they get but they better not have our stuff.
The hypocrisy here is unreal.
