Chinese server is putting Legacy Chocobo on cash shop

Wait so they took the male Miqote warm up emote and are selling it for all races? If they bring this emote to NA/EU/JP, I sure hope they make it so its a reward from a quest and not something that is being sold via Mog Station. I can understand new stuff like the Moogle mount being a cash shop only item, but the male Miqote emote....

On the otherhand, I would love to pay money for the Post Mog and Carbuncle minions, since the Plushies cost 30 euro and shipping is 26-35 euro aswell, if I want the minion via the SE Store.

I always said this is the final straw for me. Seeing as how it was our exclusive reward I don't really agree with this...at all. Th fact that they did not have 1.0 does not justify it imho. Without legacy players they wouldn't even be playing their game.

I doubt they would release them to NA/JP/EU.

For the same reason they put money into fixing up 1.x and spent the money to create ARR.

They felt that the release state of FFXIV 1.x damaged the Final Fantasy brand, they understand that Final Fantasy is their flagship product.

If you think that them walking back the promises they made to some of their most loyal fans doesn't damage the Final Fantasy brand, you are mistaken.

If they put the legacy items or story rewards from 1.x in the cash shop, I'm not only done with this game, I'm done with this company. I will never purchase another thing from them again. I know I'm not alone in this sentiment.

That is why they won't do it, they know they will lose more loyal customers than they will gain. It's about the money and they stand to lose more money by selling it than not selling it.

Seeing as it is its own, separated server system over there, I don't see an issue with it as a legacy player. If they didn't do this, then the chocobo would never be seen on their servers.

I feel like I and my characters have changed so much since 2.0, I wouldn't even care if the Legacy exclusives were blown open on the Mogstation anymore. That's just me though, I'm sure there are others who still consider it important.
