

It's essentially advertisement. Amazon benefits from FFXIV players and SE benefits from Amazon customers. Whether or not it's the most effective way to do it, I couldn't tell you.I just don't understand this promotion or the one last year. What exactly does SE gain from people buying products that aren't made by SE? Seriously, how does me buying a 20 dollar XBL card benefit SE, or I should say 14? 14 isn't even on the Xbox so SE doesn't make a penny from this. I can't recall ever meeting anyone who bought 14 strictly because they got promo items from a sale either, now that I think about it.
