Don't they care at all? It is a trivial thing but it makes me want to quit.Because Japanese companies are highly isolationist and don't really care about the rest of the world at all, let alone treating us the same way. If you think I'm full of it, look at what Japanese music companies did to the jpop boom. They completely banned it all from youtube, itunes, steaming. it's nearly impossible to get anything out of Japan. It tanked their sales but they don't care at all, and continue to ban anyone from watching their stuff. Even AVEXpictures, who distribute a lot of anime, have made it so their stuff is only sold in Japan now.
If they can't cope with Europe as a concept, why can't they just make the codes globally redeemable and let people sort themselves out? Buying a game from Amazon USA or getting a friend to obtain the 7-Eleven codes for me is much easier than importing a magazine after its subscription period expired by the time the deal was announced, or visiting a bar miles from my home.
Any way you look at this it's a completely avoidable problem, and S-E Europe/NA are just as much to blame for not fighting for our corner. The story is deliberately hidden from the EU version of the Lodestone, but surely they know people will find out. It's a social game with shared servers. We know what other people are getting.
But if you think about it, the customer satisfaction is a big deal when dealing with, well, anything. Is it because Europe has only one data center and no one gives a crap? Are we that small and irrelevant? Or do they think we are all dirt poor and that it isn't worth fixing sth fun for us? I don't know..
I mean... I'm sure they care. But not enough to do research on how to perform better for it's foreign market. The only reason Chinese and Korean versions get stuff easily is because they have it licensed to someone else. SE is at least somewhat better than most Japanese companies because of how much more successful it's main title FF games are in the west than Japan(due to Japan's highly mobile based game industry now). I personally don't really know what to say, but maybe once(if?) they reveal how EU version will come out, if they haven;'t modified it, it will show they aren't listening to criticism and maybe you should quit if it's been on your mind to do so.
Thank you for answer, so as long I see that note I am going to receive the code? I needed to buy some stuff so i make sure I saw that note before buying it, thank you =)
The Japanese people are extremely xenophobic. In other news, the sky is blue and water is wet.
Ontopic, the cloud mount is the only thing that's even remotely worth getting. That bright orange collar scarf thing is hideous, and completely ruins the outfit. Fang's Bladed Lance is the best glamour for a Dragoon weapon, and this staff doesn't change that. Overall, these offerings aren't worth the $20 price tag and headache of dealing with third-party redemption codes.
Has anyone gotten the code yet? Bought the time card code but nothing :/
I really like how it dyes. It's a popular glamour on my server and has been for a while, which makes missing out even more frustrating. My character looks great in it from the wardrobe window :/
Hey guys, i need your advice/help i have bought the 60 day time card from amazon $36 later i checked my emails no codes where in my inbox, where do i get it? Any help would be awesome. Thank you
