T9 is a pretty well designed fight. If you know what to do it is very simple and fun. If you can't even get through the golem phase, you are not even able to imagine how harder the last phase was.
In fact, most of the turns in the Coils were amazing.
T2 was a big slap in the face to wake up and being focused for the whole fight. One person releasing attention and, boom, dead. T4 and T5 were there to be sure you knew how to play your job. Simple mechanics, the only thing required was concetration, knowing how to react and being able to keep with fighting while dealing with mechanics.
I could continue on every fights back then, as everyone of them brought something new and thrilling.
Allagan Rot was really fun to manage, Tank swaping while silencing the boss on T2 was exciting, because 7 persons rely the whole fight on you.
Now it is "Bouhouhou I can't unsynch an old content, It must be nerfed !"
I hope Nael will keep crushing pretentious bad players expecting every foe to bend down in front of their lack of skill.
Since Heavenward everything got easier and easier. No more definitive death when falling of the arena is the perfect exemple. Now everyone don't even care of screwing and falling, they can be raised.
Most of the time I see players dont even trying to do things.
How many times I see players in T9 not even moving after the meteor symbol dissapear ? How many times I see players not even taking ONE step to get into the meteor zones in 24-man raids, when they have almost one foot in that zone ?
The game became so easy that almost nothing except raids have teeths.
And as soon as it require the slightest amount of awareness, we are left like the raid in the diadem. Players having no clue how to simply tank a boss on a plateform.
If Stormblood follows that drastic fall in easyness, we will soon be left with mobile type game where you press one button and get instant gratification. And players wanting nerf on extremly easy content, just because they cannot handle taking a few step on their side while fighting.
