Or they could do what Blizzard does and sue the bot makers. Would not work against the chinese farming companies that most likely have private in house bots but the public sale ones is easily targeted.

Thank you guys for the replies, it sucks that this has been a long time issue now and one that appears to be worsening. I'd love to get involved with PvP linkshells and discord channels for both Feast and Frontlines if it means I can avoid this constant nonsense.
I suppose my advice to anyone who seriously enjoys PvP would be to do the same, look for linkshells and discord channels. There doesn't seem to be much else we can do about the bot issue.
I just found out that the infamous Black Mage Speedster is still playing. They never got banned even though Yoshi *himself* made a post about them! They ranked in Season 3 Feast too.
I am not sure what the point was. But I had 72 man where an opposing teams guy beat us to the ice right next to the base first spawn. If you are going to positional hack don't teleport right into 24 players all alone. It was funny and sad at the same time.
I've noticed that a lot too, either a member of the team is allowed to leave the holding area early or it's a definite hack. If someone can get to a first-spawn ice near to a base quicker than the base's team it has to be dodgy.
Not necessarily a Bot. But has anyone had an opposing player when ever you use a skill on them in untargets them? They were fine till about 5% then any skill i sued would just untarget. The dots killed them. I just never had that happen. I used multiple skills instance and cast.
There's a SMN bot from Excal that I got in a ton of my games yesterday. Either that or they were deliberately trying to afk/die a lot so they didn't have to do anything. It was kind of hard to tell, because at one point they were getting focused and I popped Cover on them, and they actually did retreat back into our group (and then of course immediately ran back into the enemy team and died, which was frustrating as hell). But then in another match they went literally all 0s across the board except in damage taken (they died 6 times).
I'd say bot, except the Cover thing was kind of weird and makes me wonder if an actual person isn't just running a script while still being at the wheel or something in case of "accidents"?
You know I don't use bots Lore but, as a scholar (in game & out) I made it a point to know my enemy. The things these modern bots are capable of is unbelievable. I'd even go as far as saying that once the initial character selection & start city is done everything else will play "like a real person" (with exceptions). Heck, they can even choose the character & start city if you want. They'll do your MSQ, your GC stuff & anything else you can think of. It's frightening when you know enough about it. Some will even respond to chats containing keywords so they look "real but busy".
I'm fine with them since they're actually good at healing. I kicked so many butts with their support and won matches.
Really?
And still like in the german thread about gathering bots, no official reaction, right? I mean, if they really dont care then tell us so! Cause fine then, I'll get an bot for stormblood before once more working my ass off for nothing...
