Have you ever asked yourself why they refuse to speak english?

i think yoshi-p knows how to listen, read and talk in english but prefers to use japanese when he makes his keynotes and interviews because it's his native language and it's a language he can better convey his thoughts and express himself more compared to using english (which may be his 2nd or even 3rd language). i think it's the same case for everyone, you'd prefer to be spoken to in your native language so you can better understand and express yourself

I'm from Austria and I try to do my best to get informations in a foreign language because english and spanish are the main languages. Japanese is not. If japanese would be the most widely spoken language I would of course try to learn this language.

Japan is the most widely spoken language in Japan... where this game is made :P

Why not learning a language because you have to interract with it on a regular basis, and not just because it is on the top of the "most spoken languages in the world" charts?
I know that's crazy, but if I eat a lot of soup, I'll try learning how to use a spoon.

Languages aside, I think that the important question is whether we are getting the promotion this time or not? It launched April 1st in Japan. I hope they bring it to other regions too, and execute it a bit better in EU this time around..

This has been my question too, there's been absolutely no word if it is being planned for release outside of Japan, but people generally just parrot back last year's announcements as proof it will happen. I'd like to see an official statement on whether or not anything is being planned.

I'd assume it will be released outside of Japan. Unfortunately it'll likely follow a similar model to last time in that North American players get a promotion next and then European players have to wait the longest amount of time before getting promotions in certain regions. That there has been no response to this thread in months is very telling, though. I can't help but feel that if it were Japanese or North American players enduring the same issue they'd be getting regular updates to let them know where they stood.
