The ability for stuff to automatically combine two stacked items that aren't full (example, ventures, I buy two stacks, get to one remaining in one stack, send out retainer on a 2 venture mission, it takes from the full stack so I have a stack of 97 and a stack of one that won't automatically combine when I hit sort).

The ability to repair other people's gear. Like I have all crafts at 60 now, someone in my party forgot to repair, and I could repair his gear inside or outside instances..

A way of experiencing the story in a condensed or different format. Better summaries And detailing of main plot points so you can easily go back and refresh your memory. Maybe a summary or a video that is made for each story patch.

The ability to hide glamour would be nice to see in the game. Ability to replay story missions on a harder difficulty that gives rewards. Other ways to acquire tomes other then dungeons.

I'd honestly love to see changes to the quest system. FFXIV is my first MMO, but I played Legion for three weeks with friends. I lost interest in the Main Scenario around level 15 and only picked up once again briefly in Ishgard, but I read everything I touched in WoW--even the side stuff.

Fewer cutscenes (and unnatural-seeming emoting from NPCs) and more text so I can move at my own pace. More branching questlines in zones. More activities to balance out fetch quests and Where's Waldo objectives.

Final Fantasy was my childhood (as was Warcraft RTS) and it's a little sad to me that questing doesn't feel like a viable form of either entertainment or experience here.

Thinking along those lines makes me think the Templar could be introduced into this (a tactics advance job), though that would end up being another practitioner of holy magic like what paladin uses, only they'd use a spear/lance instead of sword and shield.

Bring back event-exclusive emotes? What else...housing instances in Ishgard? Or at least, in different environments? Thinking more like castles, caverns/caves, seaside cliffs, canopy - possibly mixed in with beast tribes villages (as you get to a higher reputation?). With swimming, I'd say various sailing vessels (that actually float a little - forget seasickness), submersibles...and, going back to housing, little islands? Could also introduce more threatening PVE, such as random dragons knocking you out of the sky or sharks in the waters. More situational-based challenges, like Steps of Faith.

Combine two players (say, tanks) into one for super saiyan mode? xD

Oooh forgot something. Perhaps merchant stalls in towns that have multiplayer mini-games like in festivals or a fair. (thinking of Doma here)

Oh yeah and give people some romantic things to do, cripes. Like a giant ferris wheel at the saucer or pleasure boats along the Limsa Lominsa waters, hot air balloon rides, or..uh...other stuff like that. Yeah.

Someone mentioned male glamour's earlier, and I have to agree. I would like there to be less thigh-high boots. They look good on females, but it seems like every gear set has boots that like to hug your crotch. More boot options.
And this is something I've wanted since I started this game: More beard options for men! I'd like for every race to have some sort of options for beards (maybe not aura because of the scales.) But I would consider using a Fantasia if I could have a beard on a character that didn't look like a surly old man lol
