    I support this thread!

I still don't know why people are opposed to the idea. Let's face it... If Nintendo allowed one of the greatest gaming icon, Link, to crossdress and even allow players to live their adventures fully dressed in drag, in a game highly praised with no perticular mention of broken immersion, why shouldn't FF14 allow it?

I mean... Look at these pretty boys!

    Where is the difference?!

And let's not forget that of the entire collection of armors in BotW, the Gerudo outfit was the most popular amougst certain groups.

For tonight, another foray into cosplay; here's my best attempt at original flavor Tifa.

I think I did okay, even if I'm lacking certain assets.

I felt dumb when I finally realised that the second Zelda-related picture was not, in fact, Link in a really-similar-to-the-Thavnairian-Bustier outfit but a fan work depicting how it would look on a guy. It looked perfectly natural to me after the Link image.

Anyway, I think that Tifa cosplay is the best yet. The male Miqo'te physique is a good match!

It's also made me realise how odd it is that male characters have so few proper shorts compared to even skirts. I was trying to think of similar ways to get the look without the (fantastic) uraeus skirt and everything that came to mind was female-only. This game is weird.

I know our resident troll won't ever actually reply (because his point inherently makes no sense - I'll be around in-game in a few hours if you want me to help with the confusion thing, dude!)

But what interests me more is the three cowards who ran in and Liked his post without sticking around to give reasons. These people don't want to debate or reach an understanding at all, they just want to gang up on a bunch of strangers trying to have fun. Classy.

I don't have any nice pictures with me today, so I'll try a variation on the theme. We've had pages and pages of guys (and a few gals) having fun with feminine fashion and looking amazing, so here's my Elezen feeling awkward in a male-only set.

Others may disagree but in my opinion, his looks don't really suit the Tidus costume. And that's ok, because everyone has different taste. I'll stuff it back into my retainer and go back to the gowns.

I have girl friend players who plays male characters and would want feminine outfits, too. Why is it that people just say, "it is only the gays who want it". There are lesbian and straight girl players who want it too.

Are you saying that the "boy" playing male characters are the only one who dress up as the opposite gender. How many players playing as in game girls do the same.

I think you asked and answered your question right here. You're equating three (now six) people anonymously liking a post with "ganging up on a bunch of strangers." You also called them "cowards" and sarcastically referred to them as "classy." People who feel this way (which I am sadly obligated to point out, do not include myself) are afraid to actually voice their concerns, because they will be savaged for them, and they know it. Do you honestly want to "debate" or "reach an understanding" with those people? Or do you just want to bully them into saying they agree with you?

I would be very hesitant to say that "I don't get gays. You're so WEIRD. Do you even know what you like??" is voicing a concern. It's belittling, ignorant, and best kept to themselves. There's no calm discussion to be had with a post like that.
