Given that we only have the OPs word on that I'm going to not take any stances on that. In that isolated case yes, but we don't know what was said, if anything. Either way, this isn't an XIV epidemic, and players that are rude in that respect are in the minority.





Exactly. It's the reason why I hope every raid and dungeon in the future is strictly linear so people can get all exploration achievements and loot by default. People skip rooms in PotD, afk in Diadem and avoid as many mobs and corners as possible in dungeons. It's a mess. I don't mind speed runs but denying others what they queued for does not a "friendly and helpful" community make.
To the OP, yes, people generally don't want to explore. I don't know the percentages but the vast majority default to avoiding anything that isn't moving towards the finish line. Your best options at this point are playing a tank job (so you have the most influence over the party), going back to the content solo at later levels or asking for people in the Novice Network chat to join for a full clear.

as a player i find it my job to help any new players that need me as a new >>ish<< tank i dont mindi all ways talk to my party to see what they want
as for nasty players dont pay them no mind
