    Personal limit breaks could potentially be a thing, but they would never replace party wide limit breaks. Some encounters are designed that a tank LB is the only way to survive them, and nerfing those would only result in trivializing the mechanic to nothing more than a pretty light show followed by 2 aoe heals. Now, personal limit breaks COULD be a second bar built independently of the party LB. Cap it at 1 bar and give it the exact same effect as the party 1 bar LB. Of course devs will take those into account when designing raid content, but for everything else it would certainly help players feel powerful, and using them at a right time could feel impactful to the group.

    Really get annoyed that I cant use limit breaks... because a party would say "We needed the DPS to use it!!!!" or something. I want to do my own focus too damnit!

    Would love personal LBs. As a healer, I pretty much never get to see mine, and the AST one is just so pretty...

    They already are nothing more than a pretty light show followed by 2 AoE heals. Only difference is that one of the tanks has to press one button within 5 seconds of it and the encounter is designed to give you that button in time. It could easily be replicated by requiring just one or both of the tanks to use their personal LBs (or, if you can pick your LB yourself, to have any 2 people use a mitigation LB).

    Primarily, these mechanics are a DPS check: Kill the adds in time or get wiped by the boss. You are supposed to survive if you do kill the adds in time and the tank LB is inserted artificially so they can use their LB once per expansion and feel better about themselves, which is an issue in the first place because LBs are shared.

    The people who would truly suffer from having a group LB removed would be healers, because it's an instant comeback button for the entire raid and you couldn't replicate that with 2 personal LBs without breaking everything.

    Please dont. Currently, I only need ONE player (the melee DPS, usually) to pay attention and know when to hit the LB, how to time it not to get caught etc.

    If every player would need to know how to use theirs, it just adds a ton more possibilities for things to go wrong. This game already suffers from special snowflake syndrome badly enough (people insisting on playing it differently just to be different, not because it makes any sense), so I d rather not add onto this. Also, we already have a problem where there is FAR too much of a difference between a bad and a good player of the same class/character. I have honestly seen equally geared DPS players less than HALF the damage of another of the same gear/class.
    YOu want yet another important decision that can be made WRONG?

    No, that would kill the game. Firstly because that would mean getting rid of all lb3 which is a shame, and secondly because team would ask only full mage for fast add kill or full melee for fast boss kill.
