I want FF14 spanish too! With good spanish, translating everything, from story elements (Good King Moggle Mog XII=Gran Rey Moguri Mogu XII, Scions=Totemas, etc) to system (Tank=Tanque, Raid=Asalto, etc). I mean: NO SPANGLISH.

I think SE could start with account-related things like Mog Station and Lodestone, then the game itself. First the help menu, the auto-translate, later the story, quests, items, locations...

I want spanish text, just that. We don't need spanish voces. xD

I don't even understand how this game isn't in Spanish. In Europe, you have all of Spain. In the Americas you have pretty much most of the countries. I think most people forget that in the United States alone there are millions of Spanish speakers here. I don't know if they know that and probably think that only the 3rd world countries speak Spanish and can't afford a computer or PS4. That's obviously not the case as I've met people from all over the Americas. In Los Angeles alone, where I'm from there are a ton of Spanish speakers. My personal friends come from all over Latin America: El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic & Mexico. They all speak Spanish and are all gamers. If you grew up in the 80's, 90's, 00's & 10's, it's hard not to be a gamer. Hell, one of my friends and I both married gamer girls as well, both Spanish speakers. We are here. I just don't get how the Spanish speakers can be ignored.

I don't even speak Spanish, and I think it's absolutely bizarre that this game isn't in Spanish.

Claiming there aren't enough Spanish players to justify the cost is like claiming there aren't enough flowers to justify watering your garden... Add Spanish, get more Spanish players. Tada.

They won't even acknowledge that us South Americans exist and play the game.

As a recent example, instead of addressing us in their post about the server moving to the US, they'd rather address the Europeans who already have their own servers.

It's not surprising that we still don't have a spanish client, I bet that they think that only Spain speaks spanish.

I dont think thats the only reason. More like South America has a small player pool, so they wont even bother.

They all play in english and use VPN to the USA so how can they even tell? In typical language surveys spanish is #2 largest language even above english.

Except it doesn't. I see a ton of spanish players just speaking in English and making English PFs because they've gotten used to SE not caring about spanish folk. But maybe since they're making an expansion based on a continent whose language they've decided to ignore up to now they will recognize it? It's kind of a bad look.

I bet 100 bucks the Oceania DC would have less people than the Latin America one. But regardless of that point, even with no DC the client should be in Spanish as well.
