If I see thigh-socks on one more thing in this game I'm going to vomit. Not a chance I won't be glamming that on my female Highlander.

I would be interested in SE ever gets numbers on the amount of set gear that is glamoured over. I almost never see anyone displaying the look of set gear, even when it first comes out.

I am somewhat fine with the caster set other than the headpiece. I just don't think that skull thing fits. Not a fan of the healer gear either. I don't really like gear that covers my character's face in the slightest bit. They will just be more gear that I'll just glamour over. This is why I want more glamour options. I'm running out of ideas.

And there is no way these two sets will look the same on both male and female anyway. Some of the runner ups I liked better. Oh well.

I don't really see how the caster dps set would have to be changed in any way for a female model.

No offense to the winners, but... there were WAY better entries in both categories. Seriously, who didn't look at this one for casters:
And think "Yeah, my Redmage will wear that until 5.0"?
But NOPE, we apparently needed a singlet and chaps, that looks like it was a part of that terrible PVP tier...

In all seriousness, there were so many better contenders, I didn't even remember the winners being in the finalist list. I had to go back and double check the old post.

Congratulations to the winners and the runner ups.

It is interesting the art team brought up how the winners were chosen because they would be challenging. I like that! It sounds like the good people at SE are not content to go through the motions. They wanted to implement the difficult! Bravo!

Also of note are the positive comments from the art team. They liked what they saw! I wouldn't be surprised if we spy many of the runner ups in the game come Stormblood.

With all that said, would I be out of line if I made a heartfelt plea for the Carbuncle suit to be offered in the future also? I know it isn't in the running but it would so adorable! Golden Saucer price?

Not my favourites but they are pretty good aswell. I just hope SE will add other designs in the future.
