We're not demanding anything, just saying we'd like to see it? If they're happy for us to have a puffy bodysuit and sexy stockings I'm not exactly going to complain.
I do think it's lame of the contest organisers (not the contestants) if they selectively favour the female designs over a more balanced selection of drawings - several contestants mentioned submitting a full set of drawings and only one picture was actually displayed, giving us the female-dominated gallery in the shortlist post. It's fun to imagine the clothes on our own characters, right? It's not fun to imagine S-E throwing together yet another generic pair of plain trousers instead of unique puffy shorts, right?

the runner up design's look so much better to me then the winners![]()

Its not so much people demanding the male variation be shown immediately, its that the entry is designed with a very specific figure (female) that leaves the male variation incredibly ambiguous and up in the air (although we can accurately speculate plain pants/trousers).
Of course we all know the person who submitted the drawings only came up with a female as the base model. Its what we don't see that's being discussed.

I'm so in love with all of the commenters here that don't realize the caster design is modeled on a male miqo'te and that SE was completely okay with that when they selected it.
BUTTLESS CHAPS FOR EQUALITY.

Something tells me that only the female version won't have the mantle.

Caster set is awesome! I would gladly wear this set.
However the healer set is a joke. It looks like it was made for WHM only. It also incorporates the dreaded high collar element for awful hair clipping. And, the whole set looks like pieces that are already in the game.

Caster set has creativity and while it isn't to my tastes it looks good. It's quite unique and doesn't look like anything we have so far.
Healer set totally 100% disappointed me. So uninspired. There were so many better designs and more unique designs.
The high collar is terrible like others have said it is going to clip horribly with long hair.
The thigh highs... we already have like a bunch of other leg pieces that are exactly like those minus the few accents the artist added. (Go look at Linen Bottoms already in-game)
Honestly SE probably picked it because the design is so easy to implement since there is nothing special about the design.
Like I can even make a base set to use to edit to make this gear...
Scion platform shoes
Linen bottoms for the thigh highs with clasps
Basic long sleeve sweater with random apron hanging down.
Change a few of the clothing shapes, change the colours, add the accents. Done.

I'm a bit disappointed with the winning designs. The caster one isn't too bad, but the healer one is just...a little off to me. I don't like that high rise collar, and the hat looks a bit strange.
I'm sorry, I don't usually complain, but gosh the healer outfit looks so weird. Just looking at the sleeves again, and the poofiness, I can just imagine how it'll look in game. The runner up designs were amazing, and I wish some of those could've won first instead.
