Crossover promotions tend to require a decent amount of set up and they have been all hands on working on Stormblood. You need to remember that these aren't things done quickly. The Garo event was a year and a half in the planning and judging by what Yoshi P has said, they haven't even started on any FF15 crossover.

Makes sense. Plus the people on the FFXV side are working on the character eps as well as co-op and an avatar system.

Mostly due to the legal paperwork involved, I believe? I think I recall that being the case.

The actual development may not take very long at all though but that means little if there's lots of legal back and forth to deal with first.

You can basically make it already in game with the current Dragoon gear and some Glamour. As for the Spear, well that is another topic as well as a whole different forum post. lol.
